Smartmockups.com Closure

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for being a valued member of the Smartmockups community. We launched Smartmockups in 2016 to help you create stunning mockups regardless of your design skills. The incredible community you helped us build has always been the backbone of our platform. We’re so grateful for the journey we’ve been on and couldn’t have done it without your unwavering support.

Why is Smartmockups.com closing?

In August 2023, we made the difficult decision to shut down our stand-alone platform. Smartmockups.com will be operational until September 27, 2024. After that, you can keep up to date with our amazing mockup products in Canva.

What does this mean for me?

👉 I’m a PRO Smartmockups user with annual subscription

If you are a PRO user with an annual subscription, you can continue to use Smartmockups exactly as you always have until your subscription ends. From September 27, 2023, you won't be able to renew your yearly subscription but can switch to our monthly plan if you’d like to continue your PRO subscription.

👉 I’m a PRO Smartmockups user with monthly subscription

If you are a PRO user with a monthly subscription, you can continue to use Smartmockups exactly as you always have. Please note, you can continue to renew your monthly subscription as normal until July 31, 2024. From August 1, 2024 we won’t be wont’ be accepting any monthly subscription renewals. If your monthly subscription expires after August 1, 2024, you can continue using the platform as a Free user until the final closure on September 27, 2024.

If you are a FREE user, you can continue to use Smartmockups until the final closure on September 27, 2024.

Will Smartmockups change?

From September 30, 2023, we won’t be adding any new content or feature developments. However, all the available mockups and features will remain until our final closure.

Do I need to take any action?

There are two actions we’d love you to take before the final closure and before your subscription ends:

👉 If your subscription ends or you choose to close your account before the shutdown, please download all your saved mockups and any other assets you don't want to lose. Refer to this page to learn more about your plan and when your subscription ends. 

👉 You'll have full access to all your invoices while your subscription is active. Please find them in the Account Settings - Plan & Billing section. Once your subscription is canceled, your invoices will no longer be accessible. Please reach out to hello@smartmockups.com, and we'll be happy to send you your invoices via email.

Why was this decision made?

We’re winding down our stand-alone operations in order to focus on bringing our mockups to life alongside Canva’s extensive features. Since becoming part of the Canva family in 2021, our team has launched mockup tools in Canva with similar functionality to smartmockups.com. We’re constantly developing the products to create a first-class mockup experience for everyone in Canva, and we can’t wait to see what we’ll be able to achieve together.

Will I be able to find mockups in Canva? Where?

Yes, you can, and we’re so excited for you to continue on the journey with us. Since 2021, our team has launched mockup tools in Canva with similar functionality to smartmockups.com.

Will all Smartmockups features be available in Canva?

Many of the Smartmockups features you know and love are already in Canva, with more to come!
